Berlin Fairs Starts Friday!

The Berlin Fair officially kicks off on Friday, July 14th. The horse show begins at 8:00 a.m. in the field just north west of the main fairgrounds. Horse project members are reminded to have their Coggins paperwork with them and ready to show to the fair officials at the gate. State show packets will be handed out as soon as the calculations for state show are compelted (sometime around the end of the show) They are due in the 4-H office on MONDAY!

Notebooks and still exhibits will be judged on Friday beginning at 3:00 p.m. and going until 8:00 p.m. Members should plan to go with their projects to the large exhibit hall just south of the 4-H still building for interviews with the judges. When your projects are all judged take them to the 4-H still building and place them in your club booth. Each club has been assigned booth space by the coordnator. If you need more information call Carol Visser at 677-1947. If a member is unable to attend due to work conflict, illness or another legitimate conflict they may have someone else (parent or leader) bring their projects but it must be accompanied by a letter from the parent stating why the member is not present.

4-H Spirit T-shirts will be on sale during the interview time. They are $12. and will be avaiable while supplies last. They are gray t-shirts with Ottawa County and the 4-H emblem on the upper left chest.
