GARDENING

The Ottawa County Master Gardener Program is again offering its Youth Education Program or YEP! for 2011.


· Do you like to garden? Want to learn more about the study of plants and insects? Like to spend time outside. We’re looking for young folks ages 6-12 to participate in a summer of garden learning, creative activities and fun. Students who complete the course will receive a special MSUE YEP! Certificate honoring their achievement.

· Enrollment fee is $30.00 per student and includes a curriculum binder and all materials. Healthy snacks and beverages are also included.

· Most sessions meet at the Education Garden in Grand Haven, located at the Grand Haven airport on Comstock road. Some indoor sessions will meet at Fillmore Complex in West Olive.
