Hippology and Horse Judging

We are pleased to announce we have received a grant to support our Ottawa County 4-H Hippology and Horse Judging teams. Coaches Lynn Kamps and Audra Cook are busy getting the 15 team members ready for competition at MSU in April. They have already gone on one judging trip and in March four team members will travel with the coaches to Lexington, Kentucky for the National Horse Youth Leaders Symposium. Team members and their coaches meet every week for two hours at the Fillmore Complex. Soon they will be visiting horse farms to practice judging live horses. Good luck at MSU!
