Teen Club News

The weather could not have been more cooperative this past Saturday, March 11 for the Lock-in tee-shirt making process. The sun and the wind helped them dry quickly (although we also had a few get dirty after flying off the table!). Pictured are the teens who worked very hard for 3 hours to produce 150 great looking tee shirts (and one great looking pair of jeans for Anna!) for the upcoming Lock-in on March 24: Erica, Lorna, Anna and Carleton are standing and kneeling are Ben and Jessica. Thanks to you all for your hard work! A very big thank you also goes out to Lorna's mom for giving up a beautiful Saturday afternoon to help us. We couldn't have done it without her! Many of the parents have been waiting to find out what movies will show at the Lock-in before they sign their kids up. After getting some feedback from the members, it looks like the movies will be Aquamarine, Eight Below and Pink Panther if it is still available. If it is not, we will go with Shaggy Dog. If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to call me. Also consider chaperoning the event. I believe we still need some more bodies to fill those roles - c'mon, it'll be fun! The manager already promised me unlimited coffee at all times throughout the event.
